About Inknsouls
Inknsouls is a full-stack poetry publishing platform built to give writers a simple, distraction-free space to create, share, and grow an audience for their work. Users can register an account, write and publish poems, build a public profile, and engage with other poets on the platform.
The Problem
Most aspiring poets rely on generic blogging platforms or social media, neither of which are designed for poetry. Formatting breaks, posts get lost in noisy feeds, and there's no dedicated space to build a following purely around written work.
The Solution
Inknsouls was built as a purpose-made home for poetry: clean writing formatting, user profiles, and a publishing flow designed specifically for short-form creative writing — no algorithm, no clutter, just the work.
My Role
I designed and built Inknsouls end-to-end as a full-stack developer — architecture, backend (core PHP + MySQL), frontend, user authentication, and deployment.
Challenges & Solutions
